Man of Action
Mr. Potter Esquire. He runs Potter Esquire Clothing in New York. He asked me to do a portrait when he saw the Interesting People Paintings in 2010. A consummate promoter, boxer, musician and businessman yet down to earth. I really enjoyed working on this one.

I have seen the written definition of Generation Y. I am also related to the extreme version of that definition. I tried to capture it in this painting of my brother. This was painting number two of the first iteration of Interesting People that showed in 2010.

Jack has a little of the devil in him. He really likes to tell jokes and get people riled up, all the while playing the innocent. I was trying to get that across in just the smirk.
